Petunia Seeds - Shock Wave Yellow

This mesmerising variety, producing mounded, well-branched plants smothered in yellow blooms, performs well in small spaces. It also shows good tolerance to rain damage, which is always a bonus! This trailing type flowers from July to September, reaching a height of 17-25cm (7-10").

To grow this variety, sow the coated seed in a propagator on a windowsill or in a pot or tray in a greenhouse at approximately 15-20°C (60-80°F), pressing the seed lightly onto a good quality, finely sieved, moist compost. Ensure the seeds receive adequate light and do not allow them to dry out. Germination will occur within 10-21 days. Transplant the seedlings 5cm (2") apart into trays or pots and grow them on without disruption. Gradually acclimatise the plants before planting them out 23-30cm (9-12") apart in hanging baskets or tubs in a sunny position, ensuring all danger of frost has passed.
