Gazania rigens, a Low-Growing, Evergreen Perennial Ground Cover

Gazania rigens is a low-growing, evergreen perennial that forms a dense, mat-like ground cover. Its long, narrow leaves, measuring up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length, come in shades of green or grey-green.

The plant's flowers are large and showy, with bright yellow, orange, or red petals that resemble daisies. Typically measuring 5-7 cm (2–3 inches) in diameter, these vibrant blooms are borne on sturdy stems above the foliage.
